Hi There Sister, welcoming you into the musings of today...
Today, we're diving into the topic of fear - specifically, the fear of judgment.
Do you ever find yourself holding back from pursuing your dreams
or taking chances because you're worried about what other people will think…?
This fear of judgment is something that many women experience across the entire globe, and it can hold them back from truly living their lives to the fullest.
But,
it's time to fully navigate and begin the process of releasing this fear-
IF you genuinely want to create a heart-centric approach in sharing who you are in the fullest expression of yourself.
The TRUTH and fact remains- everyone, and do mean everyone-
has their opinion based on the experiences that have led them to where they are.
Some ‘well-meaning’ advice is purely rooted in what they would be unwilling to do if they were inside your journey of discovery.
It is time to embrace the idea that other people's opinions does not determine YOUR worth, the value contribution to humanity, and the path.
The fear of judgment can be paralyzing.
It can make you second-guess yourself, hesitate to take risks, and constantly seek validation from others.
And living inside of this fear of what others think is no way to live at all.
One way to overcome judgment fears is to remember everyone is on a unique journey.
What works for one person may not work for another, and that's okay.
It's important to stay true to yourself, even when someone may not fully understand why you’re on this adventure in the first place.
It’s where you begin to unravel your goals with the route this whisper leads you to go- regardless of what other people may think.
BE aware when you begin to make the slightest adjustments
- unfortunately, not everyone will be your cheerleader.
It’s something that I learned in 2008, facing a hard truth that my time felt it was being ‘wasted’ in the busyness of life
… going through the motions of waking up each morning the day being on auto-pilot, showering and brushing my teeth-
hoping that I’d have enough sleep to muster through the next day.
Physically, I was heading towards a steep drop-off the first hard truth was having to acknowledge: the sugar intake each day
my body was having a difficult time in being able to process
the on-going roller coaster rides…
The migraines, the brain fog, and the myriad of digestive issues that came with this disruption of connection inside my body.
Nights of insomnia, the lack of being consistent with working out
and hydration was zilch-
unless the three 16oz blended coffees could count…?!
Just the idea of stepping on a scale was far-fetched.
I was eating my feelings in the fear of being judged
- unsure how to even begin to express anything of myself.
And back to another helpful insight…
The second is to focus on YOU, your happiness and fulfillment, rather than seeking validation from others.
When you prioritize your
well-being and pursue your dreams for yourself- rather than for the approval of others, the fear of judgment begins to lose its power.
It's also important
to remember that a ‘failure’ in Life
is a LEARNING curve
towards the next step in success
All of these steps are a natural part of life.
That feeling of not ‘reaching’ something at 100%
- is an opportunity to learn and grow, and it should not be feared
or avoided out of concern for what others will think.
Similarly, success should be celebrated, the WINS, at the top of a mountain peak and not held back out of fear of judgment…
This was another learning curve for me- To STAND in full expression, to share the wins
meanwhile, knowing that there could be some snickering in the cheap seats…
If the fear of judgment is holding you back from relaxation and enjoying life, it's time to take a step back and reevaluate priorities.
Everyone deserves to relax and unwind without feeling out of alignment with their life.
It may be helpful to engage in activities that bring you joy and peace, not waiting to ‘splurge’ on you-
Except this becomes a daily ritual.
Ideas could be practicing self-care, engaging in a hobby that brings you back to feeling centered, and devoting your presence to the ones that you love.
Remember, your divine worth is not determined by what others think, and they have the power to live their lives in a way that brings them true happiness and fulfillment.
In conclusion, the fear of judgment should not discourage anyone from pursuing their dreams or living their lives to the fullest.
By surrounding yourself with supportive people, staying true to yourself, and embracing every facet of your world, you can overcome the fear of judgment and truly relax and enjoy life.
This is YOUR life, dreams, and goals; YOU can pursue all of them
without seeking validation from others.
Give yourself the permission slip to let your heart lead you…
Appreciate you stopping in; will be seeing you soon
